World War 2 London Blitz
The inspiration for this bulletin board was actually a pin I saw on Pinterest. There are some similar boards with the background and the airplanes, but I didn't see any with the pictures of what was happening on the ground.
I am not an artistic person so the silhouette of London, or whatever my imagination came up with, was really hard to do. It took about three hours to get the background up and another three or more searching for the pictures, printing, laminating, and cutting out the airplanes. It was a long process, but the students loved it. When we got to the London Blitz lesson and various parts of World War II, the students could all relate to the images that they saw on the board. It was worth the time and effort.
