Easy Christmas Bulletin Board

I know, I know... It's spring. We should be talking about Easter and the coming summer break. Certainly not Christmas, but consider this a resource for next year.

When Christmas came around last year, I really needed something that looked great for Christmas but would last me through January as well until I could get another bulletin board done. So I reused my owl and tree that I had up all year last year and picked a saying that one of my students suggested. Slap some snowflakes on the board and some red border, and you are good to go.

The student who suggested the bulletin board loved that they got to participate and inspired lots of conversation amongst the other students.

Most of my students hadn't seen the owl & tree boards before so they didn't mind the repeat. Those who had visited my room on errands last year just commented on the fact that I seem to really like owls.

Best part - simple and it survived Christmas and January. Took about an hour to tear down the previous bulletin board and put this one up. I really need to get faster at putting that big role of paper on the board!
