Thankful Bulletin Board

This bulletin board was a lot of fun to make in the fall. It is obviously super-simple and probably not my most inspired idea, but it worked and the students who contributed were thrilled. The rest of the students had fun guessing whose paper was whose.

Last year I found the Thanksgiving banner as a free printable. I used it in my classroom last year, but resurrected it this year because quite frankly this year is so different. I probably could have added a border or some sort of background paper, but the school was out of the paper that I wanted and none of my borders really matched the overall look of the board. Oh well!

My girls Bible class volunteered to fill out and color the following worksheets. Also free printables. They each got a sheet and listed the things that they were thankful. The girls did a great job putting heartfelt and quite different things on their list. It was a really great board and easy to make.

I bought the leaves at Michaels and just attached them to the board in any space gaps.
